History
Twingly.se was first launched in February 2007 on the same day as the two largest Swedish newspapers DN.se and Svd.se began to use Twingly Blogstream to link back to blogs writing about their articles.
Since then, a lot has happened.
Twingly Blogstream has become a huge hit in Europe and in only one year over 40 Twingly Partners have started to use our Blogstream Widget, which is tailor-made for easy integration into “traditional” media publishing systems.
Our screensaver was launched the same summer and was named the coolest screensaver ever by bloggers.
After developing a new, highly scalable infrastructure – as well as a search engine - we’re now ready to look into the future and release our new spam-free blog search engine to the public.
